We are holding a free Literacy Awareness Training session in Portlaoise Institute on June 26, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

In this Literacy Awareness Training, participants will:
- Learn to recognise the signs of literacy needs and understand the current literacy landscape in Ireland.
- Gain strategies to discuss literacy in a supportive manner and remove literacy-related barriers for individuals.
- Receive practical tips on using plain language, ensuring clear communication, and creating an inclusive environment.
- Understand how to be more literacy-aware and friendly, ensuring that our services are accessible to all.
At the end of the training, participants will receive a badge for use in emails or documentation to show that they have completed the training
