Summer Camps

Let’s Go! Summer Schools operate multi activity sports camps. Each Let’s Go! Multi Activity Summer Camp offers two programmes of activities, one for the 5-6 year olds (children must be attending primary school) and the second for children aged 7-12 years.

The Summer Stars Reading Programme, which encourages children to keep reading for fun over the summer, is back at Offaly Libraries.

To help children keep track of their reading and stay motivated, they can collect a Summer Stars reading card at their local library branch. Library staff will encourage them over the summer months and they will receive some Summer Stars items such as pencils and pencil cases as they read, along with a certificate of completion and a medal once they reach their reading goal!

Offaly Libraries will run Summer Stars storytimes, a book review competition, and craft sessions over the summer, and we encourage families to drop in and check out the wonderful resources we have to offer. Summer Stars is a national Right To Read initiative.

This summer Tullamore Presbyterian Church will be running a science-themed holiday club called “Wonder Zone”.

The children (Scientists), accompanied by “Researchers” and “lab technicians” (their leaders) will find out about the Wonders of the Universe and the Creatures of the World as we explore science and the Bible together.  We’ll have our usual mix of activities to suit everyone such as crafts, bible stories, songs, games and drama, as well as exciting science experiments!

Age: The club is for children in National School between the ages of 4-12

When: This year it will run from 3rd-7th July from 2pm to 5pm

Cost: There is no upfront cost for a child to attend Holiday Club. If you are able to give a donation toward the cost that is always very welcome and information on how to give will be in your welcome pack on the first day of the club, but there is no obligation to contribute.

A Chance To Dance – Summer Camp for children age 8 + with additional needs.
