Service Description

  • Issues with regards to resilience and self efficacy

  • Additional supports required for improved school attainment attachment, achievement
  • Cultural/gender issues

List of Services Available

The SAFE Project provides a range of interventions to meet the needs of young people and their families.

This includes:

  • Developmental group work to build skills such as decision making, problem solving, resilience, social skills, etc.
  • 1:1 Interventions focusing on identified needs such as  health and wellbeing, educational attachment and attainment,healthy relationships and prosocial behaviour.
  • Parent and sibling support
  • Recreational activities and involvement in their local community
  • Referrals and signposting to appropriate additional supports
  • Youth Officers also support project participants through their involvement in Meitheals, contribute to Safety Plans and participate in Case Conference Reviews for those on the Child Protection Notification System.
