A Sexual Assault Treatment Unit (SATU) is a safe place to go if you have, or think you may have been raped or sexually assaulted.
It is a free, confidential service. We are here to help 24 hours a day.
Your healthcare needs are our priority. We care for all genders and gender identities aged 14 years and over.
You will be offered a health check and medication whether you decide to have a forensic examination or not. A forensic examination is a type of medical examination that is carried out to collect evidence after a rape or sexual assault.
We will also look after your psychological needs and a psychological support worker may be present if you wish.
If you need referral to any other services we can arrange this.
